 About.

More than a finance expert, music is an important part of Bob's life.

Established in 1996

I’ve lost count of the number of financial statements I’ve analyzed and business plans I’ve read and critiqued over the years. I am ready to help you and your business.

Our Goal

It's very simple. I want to help you maximize the value of your business.

Most people probably wouldn’t think that the trombone was a good way to get into the financial business but it’s the way I started.
I grew up on the East coast and by late Jr. High knew I wanted to be a professional musician.  I have a wonderful musical education and made my start as a free-lance player in Philadelphia.  Basically if a song came out of the Gamble, Huff and Thom Bell producers and had horns on it between 1969 and 1971 I was on it.
Also during that time I played and recorded with the Philadelphia Orchestra and played both of the opera companies then in Philly. Then I spent a couple of years at different hotels on the Las Vegas strip.

The music business was drying up.  We wanted to move back to KC, my wife’s hometown, and I decided to try banking.

That attempt worked out well since it gave me my introduction to problem loans including finding collateral.  I’ve been 1,000 feet back in an underground coal mine in Eastern Kentucky, hitch hiked across between Thompson, Utah and Grand Junction, Colorado when the fuel pump blew on a car I was sent to repossess, and learned my way around Kansas City doing outside collections.

We're Here for You !

Over the years I’ve developed a reliable indicator of how to help a company.  I call it the “basic unit of revenue”.  I have yet to see an industry that didn’t have one.  Sometimes it takes a little digging to figure it out but it’s always there.  That number may be something you haven’t thought about.  Call me and we can figure it out.
